Knowledge About Shaker Bottles

We are a protein shaker bottle supplier. The plastic shaker bottles are usually made of PP.

 

Polypropylene, a kind of plastic, is a linear polymer with high density, no side chain and high crystallinity, and has excellent comprehensive properties. Common products: shaker bottle,basin, barrel, furniture, film, woven bag, bottle cap, car bumper, etc.

 

PP plastic, chemical name: polypropylene, English name: Polypropylene (abbreviated as pp), specific gravity: 0.9-0.91 g/cm3, molding shrinkage: 1.0-2.5%, molding temperature: 160-220 ℃, PP is a crystalline polymer, and its comprehensive performance is better than that of PE material. PP products are light in weight, good in toughness and chemical resistance. Disadvantages of PP: low dimensional accuracy, insufficient rigidity, poor weather resistance, post shrinkage, easy aging, embrittlement and deformation after demoulding. In daily life, the commonly used protein shaker bottle is made of PP material.

 

PP polyester is a kind of amorphous, its melting point should be above 220, and its thermal deformation temperature should be about 121 degrees. However, because it is a macromolecular polymer after all, the higher the temperature is, the more likely it is to precipitate small analytical oligomers. Most of these substances are not conducive to human health. And according to the customer's use, the boiling water is generally 100 degrees, so the general plastic shakers will not be marked above 100 degrees.

 

In the PP material, high-purity propylene is the main material, which includes a small amount of ethylene copolymers. After drying, mixing, extruding, granulating, screening and homogenizing, the polypropylene particles are cylindrical particles. The particles are very smooth and clean without any mechanical impurities. It has good mechanical properties and heat resistance, It is non-toxic to use in the temperature range of minus 30 ℃ to 140 ℃.

 

The shaker bottle made of PP can be put into the microwave oven and can be reused after careful cleaning. Special attention should be paid to some shaker bottles. The body of shaker bottle is indeed made of No. 5 PP, but the lid of shaker is made of No. 1 PE. Since PE cannot withstand high temperature, it cannot be put into the microwave oven together with the body of shaker. To be on the safe side, remove the cover before putting the container into the microwave oven.
